I have to go with Gerald Wallace. He is going to win multiple defensive player of the league awards, and on top of that his offensive game is growing every year. He is a slasher mostly, but if and when he develops a jumpshot I think he is an allstar.Who is your pick?

You read my mind. As soon as I saw the title I thought G-Force. He is a very athletic player, shoots a very high percentage, great at driving and using his athleticism to score points, good at getting to the line, good rebounder, improved shooter, good shotblocker, great defender. This guy is so multi-talented, but he gets no credit because he plays for the Bobcats.

AK-47, man this guy is a beast. He does everything for you, blocks shots, rebounds, scores he can do it all. Just like G-Force he gets no credit because he plays on a crappy team. Gerald shoots a high field goal percentage while still getting his 15 points per game.

Ak47 is another great pick. It seems like the smaller market team players don't get enough love, especially the ones that make their names off of defense.

^TrueBut Anyways.AK- although he seems like he's only worried about stats these days.Arenas- I find it hard to say him, when he's a star, but he still might the most underrated.Gerald Wallace- good defense and could make a great impact in the league.Josh Howard-the guy was picked last in the same draft class that has Lebron, Wade, Melo, Bosh...but he might be THE reason the Mavs win a title in only his 3rd year.

I have a hard time picking Gilbert Arenas and some NBA guards because their numbers are so inflated due to the new rules, it's no coincidence that all these guards are putting up huge numbers. Arenas is a great player but I just don't take it that seriously. Obviously guys like Elton Brand come to mind because they are solid and not big talkers. Brand is a very complete player and one aspect of him thats never mentioned is how long his arms are, thats why he gets so many blocks and rebounds, people always talk about how short he is but in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter. So my pick is probably Elton Brand.

It used to be Joe Johnson. Probably now it is Gerald Wallace, but i'll add some more names to the discussion. Michael Redd, Luke Ridnour, Marcus Camby (although he is overrated by some), Ron Artest, Kirk Hinrich, Lamar Odom, Kyle Korver. Of that group, i like Hinrich as the most underrated.

I would put Hinrich in the discussion but his game has not developed like everyone has thought, in three years his numbers are all nearly identicle, I know statistics aren't everything but it's troubling to see the lack of improvement.

He only averaged 15 points, 8 boards and 4 assists this season.
