One positive from this game is that Brandon was pretty effective and seems to be comfortable out there.
I'm not going to the Nets game (I'll record it). I'm going to the first preview of SPIDERMAN: TURN OFF THE DARK instead.
Let's recap. -Joel was supposed to come back tonight, but he suddenly had to be hospitalized. -Brandon comes back and looks OK, but still clearly not himself. -Rudy comes out energized, only to take a knee to the nads, and will probably be out for the near future. -Marks plays his best game as a Blazer only to (of course) roll his ankle. -LaMarcus looks even worse than last year at handling double teams. - Nate reverts to the Roy offense in the fourth quarter and fails AGAIN. - Nate crosses his arms as Monty coaches circles around him AGAIN. Fuckin hell, this season is painful.
My new name for this team is the Portland Boring Blazers. I can't even sit through and watch a whole game anymore. I'll usually just watch parts of the 1st quarter, then tune in to some of the 4th. They coast around like it's church league. We'll usually see one nice streach, where they build a lead, then they just stop playing. I don't know what's up with these guys, but they are not really entertaining. Now, I"m just following them out of habit. I hope we re-build and get an interesting team.
