I've never heard that milk slows down the absorbtion. So much information out there these days you don't know what to believe. Never thought about smokey oysters post workout. Sounds delish.
I do not think milk is detrimental and can only say that it works for me. My thinking is that there are multiple ways to get to where you want to go and choosing the path that works personally is best. Took tours of Lakeshore and Brave Legion yesterday. Must have been running an early bird special when I was there because it was all seniors. Nice gym and lots to do for the kiddos. Would love it if there was all of the stuff for the kiddos that is at Lakeshore and the boxing/MMA classes of Brave Legion at the same location.
Hit the gym today. Changed it up a bit since I felt like I was getting in a rut. I hit up the row machine: That thing kicked my ass! I started off at level 5 and I thought it was a bit too easy. But I kept it at that setting & I'm glad I didn't increase it. I had a hard time going a full 10 minutes after I jogged on the treadmill for 10 minutes. I think I'm gonna start mixing that in on my back days to get warmed up & get a good cardio before I begin.
Added 30min of rowing today and 45 min on the bike before going to bed. Started to see some results from primarily lifting, but none of the fat builtup around my waist was going away. Going to be switching up my routine next week anyway because there are more than one of the exercises where I have maxed out the machine.
It was sometime around 4pm. At 24hr, during the day there are alot of wierdo's, elderly, and a few milf's. At night, seems like a split of 18-20 yr olds and Biggest Loser wannabe's. Last night, had two teenage girls working out next to me and trying to one up each other in coversation about their sexual exploits. Another reminder I am getting old since all I could think of is if my little girl would do the same when she gets that age.
