Well it was the best game they have played in weeks IMO. First it was impossible getting up there in monsoon rain but once we hopped the train and got to Boston, it let up thankfully. Man there are some strange people on those trains. Anyway TD Bank is a nice arena... one of the better Ive been too.

Now onto the game. Like I said overall they played well but when the bench enters, everything go south. At one point in the 3rd, my GF who really doesn't know many Blazers said "oh no" when Marks entered the game. Its amazing that a women who is less then a casual fan can see how bad he is. She was pretty star struck with shaq lol. I was ready to leave with 3 minutes left to catch the train before everyone got out but she's like "they could still win" and I said "um no." I felt pretty dumb sitting their with 28 secs left down by 1. Almost though... almost. Im saying right now we wIn Friday and Sunday to get back to 500.

Player individual notes.... as i have watched every game yet in person you notice things and get a more honest feel.

LA - exactly like TV... nobody in the nba is more quiet yet effective.

    Wes - looks great.

Camby - got a huge ovation during intros. Thats all i remember on his night.

Marks - the word dreadful doesnt do enough justice.

Mills - ya know i watched him warmup during halftime and literally he made 11 three pointers in a row from the corner. he needs to shoot that shot when hes out there cause its $. Otherwise he didnt impress.

Roy - Def not as quick as he once was but he didnt seem that bad either. I think the talk of him being done is a bit silly.

Miller - amazing how slow he looks but yet always beats his man for a layup.

    Pryz - nice suit

Batum - his shot looks so bad and you can tell his confidence has sunk. He got beat so many times when he was in the game off dribble.

Rudy - has my womens heart but he played well.

Anyway long ride home but it was a fun game. Didnt see many celebs there which is rare for Boston.

Marks is so bad it makes me laugh out loud when he is in the game.

I didn't enjoy Portland's attempts to have the offense go through Off The Marks for three possessions in a row.
    That was just plain horrid.

I have a hard time believing that Cho could not find anybody else in the D league for free agent list who is not better than Marks. To me, that is specifically, lack of effort on the GM's part.

    I beg to differ.

    I thought it was hilarious.

As for finding someone better in the d-league, I can't imagine there isn't a better big man or two out there.
    Or in China
    Or in Europe
Or living on the street under a bridge.

Wasn't there a big guy we had during summer league that was pretty impressive and was blocking shots and playing good D? Ibekwe? Where is he.. I'm sure he'd be better than Marks.

He's our best shooter and we're wasting him. We gotta run plays for him to take a few threes a game. He should play some minutes with Brandon.

    Hahaha!

    Sorry. I couldn't make it. ;o)

He drilled the three like mad in D-League. An open three is an open three. And like Mixum said, Mills drilled like 11 in a row in pre game warmups. I think he's our best three point shooter and we should give him a chance to prove that.

We could send them the draft pick we got for Bayless.

Mills needs to be given the chance to show he can play. Instead of sitting on the bench getting splinters in his anus hole.
