Armon will be better than Bayless. He's still just 21.

Patience, they're still evaluating the roster.

Well the Hornets are getting destroyed by the Spurs right now, that that NO draft pick is looking a little better than is was a couple of weeks ago.

People complaining about Bayless now sound like some of the folks that dais the same things when Jack was traded (yes there were some). It just takes some fans a little more time to realize their former players are mediocre.

They've lost 5 of 7. Soon to be 6 out of 8 after they lose tonight.

Isn't that the same argument you just made for Bayless? Not sure why your laughing.

I would be surprised if this proved to be true.

lol. Stuff like this cracks me up with this fanbase.

3 weeks ago he was annointed the PGOTF by many around here. He hit a bit of a rookie wall where he's had a bad stretch of games and he's a bum now.

The only reason that Patty has jumped him in the rotation is because Nate is trying to save face by making drastic changes to the rotation. When the real change he should make is bringing Roy off the bench. Many thought Patty made the roster strictly because he's a PA guy. Nate loses 6 in a row, primarily to garbage east coast teams and bam, PA's boy Patty is backing up Miller.

Armon is going to be a good player. The fact that he hit a rookie wall like most, especially PG's doesn't change my feeling about him as a player and prospect.

Our bench is awful with Wesley moving up to the starting 5. We could have used JB's instant offense off the bench. At the very least, it's looking like the Hornets are coming back down to earth and that pick could be very handy come June if all the expected prospects declare.

You seem to be under the impression that "giving up" on Oden because he is worthless will somehow help the team. If he is worthless, as you claim, we aren't going to get anything for him anyway. However, there have been GMs claiming they would take the risk for his potential. There is no downside for the Blazers continuing to spend over-the-cap dollars on his potential.

Are you under the impression that keeping him on the roster at the 15th spot will somehow tie the hands of the franchise?

With the distinct possibility of a hard cap that is significantly lower than the current salary cap, yes, I am under the impression that the team can't handle another bad contract. The old argument that "well, we are over the cap anyway" isn't likely to apply in the future.

aarmon johnson couldn't score 10 points if he was given open jumpers all night. and patty is like the twisted tea version of damon while damon is the beer.

I would be willing to bet Armon is out of the league in 3 years, maybe 2.

Well of course. Because early on before Johnson even played an NBA game you had your mind set that he was a scrub. Then it was proven that he can actually play. He has a bad stretch where he hits a rookie wall and Nate wants to save face so he's back out of the rotation. Its okay to admit your wrong around here sometimes, no one's going to bite ya.

So he hit the rookie wall 4 games into the season? Any more excuses you want to make?

I do not believe Cho or alot of GM's have as much power as the public think they do. After KP was fired, Miller was pretty demonstative in pointing out that alot of the decisions that happened under KP's tenure were group decisions.

The company line seems to be that the team just needs time to adjust to playing together and the schedule was not ideal. Not expecting a big deal anytime soon.

I was going to post something similar to this about Cho. I think he doesn't have much capital in the autonomy economy.
