We need a good young PG and Minny needs talent/draft picks/cap relief. How about trading for the rights to Rubio or Flynn? I know not exactly a new trade idea but looking through different teams rosters they have two good young pg's and we have a need for a good young pg. Might take a third team to get this deal done but something to at least consider. IMO Rubio has Nash type talent and Flynn is putting up some nice numbers.

Why do they need cap relief?

Personally I think Rubio looks like garbage... and I'm not so sure Minny is wanting to trade with us after their perceived slight in the Martell Webster trade.

Where is Flynn nowadays, by the way? He hasn't played a game this season.

seriously though... mo willaims and varejo are what we need to fix this imo at least for the next few years. i think its also realistic instead of lets trade for westbrook type stuff.

It won't make us a contender and it's not even a sure bet that we'd be a playoff team, but I think it's a worthwhile risk to take ... depending on the pieces going out (aside from Joel and Andre)

dont think we can trade joel.... however miller (as long as we get a williams type back) is 100% moveable. this franchise still is roys wether we agree or not. alllen sees it that way, miller does and i think nate does. therefore... they will put guys around roy to fix his game or hide it best they can. miller exposes roy cause he cant shoot at all. mo would hide it more and make you respect his shot. varejo fixes our PF/C issue and is exactly the banger we need.

this trade is a no brainer. its also the best we can do i think at this point. as far as solid talent goes.

and nic... we may not be a contender but thats a playoff team (assuming we arent 8 games back if we make a trade that improves us.

    mo/mills/johnson
    roy/rudy
    batum/wes
    la/varejo
    camby/pryz

thats pretty solid team assuming roy can be even 60% of his old self. in fact that teams looks very very nice. there ya go cho.

    Hmmm.

How do you plan to get both Mo and Varejao? Your contract math seems to be a little off.

Hey that would be great. Get it done. Just one question:

How do we add Williams and Varejo for just Andre Miller?

    Salaries don't match.

And why does Cleveland ship out Varejo and not get any good young talent coming back?

I like Flynn. He's been injured. He's not an amazing shooter, so given Miller struggles with Roy, I don't know why Flynn would do any better.

I agree we need to be looking for our future PG, but Mo and Varejo don't accomplish that. I like Flynn, but again why are these other teams making these deals with us?? Doesn't look well thought out.
I especiallly do not like Rubio. I have had enough with prima-donna type Euros without having played on this continent. No thanks.

Flynn is too undersized for my liking. He reminds me a lot of TJ Ford.

I could live with an undersized point like Lawson, because atleast he has a 3 point shot.
