you mean "hopefully OT" as in "I hope they dont try and take Chip Kelly away"?

Imagine what Chip could do with that recruiting base in Florida. Better throw some more money at him, just in case.

Chip is paid quite well right now.

Oregon is a better place to be coaching right now than Florida, tbh.

Chip married an Oregon girl last year, and is building the house of his dreams in Oregon. He isn't going anywhere.

I highly doubt any of our coaches will be taken away. Like the recent articles have shown, Oregon is becoming a super power.

So at the very least Chip cant take the job until after the Natty. Not saying he would, but according to his contract he cant leave during season or in the lull before a bowl game.

Why would Chip leave when he's compensated nicely and has most his team returning and a great recruiting class coming in.

    Canzano is a dolt.

If Chip leaves, it will be for the NFL I suspect.

Chips specialty is his knowledge of the spread offense. I doubt NFL coaches are clamoring to run his version of the spread. I think Chip digs the atmosphere of college football.

Yeah, but my point is that he'll leave because the NFL is a challenge that is there to be conquered. I don't see why he'd go to another college if he has the money at Oregon, the facilities at Oregon, and is winning at Oregon.

The timing is all wrong if Chip Kelly were to leave now. No way he leaves before the National Championship to go to Florida. I remember Michigan tried to hire Les Miles and it was almost a done deal, till all the dominoes fell correctly and LSU ended up in the National title. There was no way Les was leaving then.

Florida's first option will probably be to go after Bob Stoops. The Athletic director offered him the job last time and Stoops turned it down, it's probably likely that he'll turn it down again. Dan Mullen of Mississippi St. will be the second option. He was the former offensive coordinator under Urban Meyer and had a decent year with turning around Miss. St.

    Mark these words...

Chip is NOT going anywhere, anytime soon. Take it to the bank. He loves Oregon. He loves his staff and players and future here. This is a guy who passed on a job with the Giants while at NH. Why? Because he liked his job at NH. He likes Oregon even more.
