    Hello darkness, my old friend
Matthews doesn't have Roy's passing ability, so an outside shooter wouldn't be able to leverage Matthews' slashing ability. For a drive-and-kick game, you need a slasher with high level passing skills like the old Roy or, I dunno, Miller. :)

Maybe we should trade Roy for Mo!

So, who are we going to trade to Miami for LeBron? The fact is, Mo Williams is only good when he has a superstar teammate who commands defensive attention and creates open shots for him. Too bad we don't have one of those. He'd be shooting the same 0.291 3FG% here in Portland as he is in Cleveland. Perhaps worse, as our players tend to rush a lot of 3-pointers as the shot clock winds down thanks to Nate's unimginative offense.

With his 28.7 USG% Really? And Miller with his 21.1 USG% is a ballhog?

    ....

The season before coming to Cleveland Mo Williams averaged 17.2pts/6.4asts/38.5% from 3. He even shot 48% from 2. He doesn't need LeBron to be a good player.

Not one of your better posts.

Seems like a better fit than Miller, IMO. Also, the team's 3-pt shooting is down in part because the PG can't shoot from outside.

Mo Williams' has a 29% 3-pt. sample over 16 games compared to 39%, 44%, and 43% over the past 3 seasons, and you're using the smaller data set. Weren't you the one berating me about the misuse of statistics? Plus, Mo shot 39% in Milwaukee without LeBrown.

Crappy shooter? Give me a fucking break.

If Brandon Roy thinks Steve Blake is a better fit than Miller than I know he would think Williams is as well. It's not that hard to figure out.

He was a 22 prior to this year and a 22.8 for his career. You do realize that Mo Williams has played more than 16 games in the NBA, right? You seem stuck on his stats from this year. Comparatively, Miller was a 23.8 last year.

I wouldn't trade anyone based solely on PER. Not sure where you're coming from here.

LoL. One of the more funny things I've read on here in awhile. Almost worthy of a little place in my signature.

Roy was barely a role player tonight. I honestly didn't even notice him 90% of the time.

    Miller got the wake-up call.

Plus, a great coaching decision by Nate to never double-team Howard. Zan, Jayna, and Gleek were lost tonight without open looks.

His team leading PER suggests he was awake the whole season.
