Just curious if anyone knows, can't remember what happened last time there was a lockout. But from what I read, the current CBA expires July 1st, the beginning of free agency. S o assuming no new deal, and that there is a lockout, is there a time frame negotiated after they happen to come to an agreement(say they agree on christmas next season)? Like, do they schedule in 3 weeks of free agency signing?

All I know is that they make a lot of money and they spend a lot of money, too.

In 1998-99, the settlement was reached on 1/7/99, and the season didn't start until 2/5/99. I don't remember any major FA signings off of the top of my head, though I'm sure FAs were signed during that window.

If this happened, I wonder if the Blazers would send the D-League team to play here a few games. i bet people would go to them.
