Idaho is stacked with Luke Jackson, Seth Tarver, Salim Stoudamire and even Antoine Walker? Now you add Babbitt to the mix.. what a squad. wth is Antoine Walker doing in the D-League?

They picked those three lame "highlights" to show? Seriously? 1. Guy doesn't guard him. Shoots and makes easy jump shot. I can do that. 2. Standing alone under the basket. Receives pass and makes wide open layup. Check. 3. Runs the floor and makes easy layup. Trifecta. If they aren't going to guard him, how is that going to get him ready for the NBA?

I watched the game and I was actually impressed with his defense. Doesn't really mean much considering he was guarding D-League power forwards though.

I find it fitting that Luke Jackson is on that team; Babbit will get an up close and personal glance at what his future will look like in 3 years.

So you guys are saying that his game doesn't remind you of Jackson's? He's the first player I thought of when I saw his clips from college during the draft.

It's hard to say what Jackson would have been in the NBA if he hadn't injured his back. Not a star, but potentially a good player.

So can he only put up numbers against shitty competition, or did Nate not utilize him like he should have?

The thing that always mystified me is I would have they put Babbit out there, even undersized, for the same minutes they are giving Marks. Hell that one game Marks committed like 5 fouls in 6 minutes. Babbit could have done that and not completely stunk it up on offense.

Jacking up 4-pointers. Shit, he should play for the Globetrotters. They actually have a 4-pointer in their games:

So much fail on that team. It's funny how Salim Stoudamire just fell off like that. I thought he was doing pretty well in Atlanta. Toine has to be one of the biggest failures in NBA history. Can you think of anyone else who went from an All-Star to simply sucking so bad that he couldn't get a contract? Actually, he kind of reminds me of Shawn Kemp.
