Exactly. He's even admitted on air that he doesn't watch some of the late games because he has to be up too early for the MSP. lol. So he doesn't have inside info, he doesn't have media credentials to games and he doesn't even watch some of the games because they're on too late. That doesn't stop some around here from quoting his takes on the Blazers like its some kind of gospel or something.
Well if my opinion about the Blazers holds as much weight, why is no one offering me money to write or talk about my opinion? Why are businessses going to pay Dwight for his opinion and not mine or yours if we have as much weight as he does? I'm not saying his opinions are more correct, but obviously his opinions have more weight in the community than our opinions, that is the reality of the situation. Trust me.
I agree. I don't hate him either. He is about the only guy in the media that will tell it like it is. I appreciate that and it's very refreshing. But he does and always finds something to biatch about.
I like Dwight Jaynes OK. But I will not miss the smarmy way that other douche says the word "Godfather" every third sentence. And it's even worse when he shortens it to "Father." Ugh. Happy retirement, Dwight.
I hate responding to a Mixum thread... but I cant help myself on this topic. YES! GREAT NEWS! I'm not a fan of D.Jaynes. Now hopefully they'll kick CIP to the curb and find some decent replacements. I used to be a big MSP fan, but now I never listen.
