He has seven points on 3/5 shooting. He is slow to rotate on defense though, that last three was on him.
He's hitting some shots, but the real impact I see him having on the game (aside from his porous defense) is that opponent's no longer fear him -- defenses just doesn't give him that much attention anymore.
I don't believe that. I think it's all mental though, and whether he can commit to making those adjustments.
Brandon's strength has always been his ability to create shots for himself with his dribble, with the shape his knees are in he can't do that anymore ... and turning himself into a classic, catch-and-shoot wing isn't as easy as you make it sound, it takes years of practice for a player to become NBA proficient at a skill, and with practice time at such a premium during the regular season those kinds of adjustments aren't likely to materialize unless he puts in lots and lots of reps in the off-season.
