http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/408...lace_in_denver/I, for one, would love to see Kemp back in the NBA. I have seen pictures and footage of him working out, and he is really in good shape. He also still has power when he dunks the ball. If Reggie Evans takes his reported offer with the Knicks, Kemp would fit in nicely in Denver.
Oh please, this is a last ditch effort to get an NBA contract because he's running out of money. If he comes back...I could care less really.
I doubt he would make it through the whole season without being cut..Come on guys. With years off of the NBA and the fact that he is in his mid to late 30's he wont make it. He is too out of shape. I will be astonished if he finds himself a place on the team.

His age will limit his minutes and he probably won't do much with them anyway. Some people can't stay away from the game but you have to acknowledge when your time as an NBA player has passed.
I'd love for him to come in and play well but I just don't see it happening. One person I don't want to see back is Dennis Rodman.............
Kemp playing for George Karl again sounds like a cool idea. If they only get GP as well but I know thats not going to happen.
Have you guys learned nothing?Kemp will say he's going somewhere, Kemp will go somewhere for awhile, but ultimately: He'll fade away again
Isn't he a 40 year old overweight drug addict? The Kemp some of you guys are desribing played 8 years ago. He is a different person and player now. I don't expect much of anything if he does return.

I posted pics of the new Kemp in the Mavericks board, just do a search, there won't be a lot of options to choose from, should be easy to find.
http://www.bball-world.net/index.php?showt...6&hl=Shawn+KempThose are the pics Rok posted. But I saw other ones, like of him actually in the gym and on the court working out. Either way, he isn't in bad shape and apparently he has a new work ethic and outlook (take it for what it is I guess). He is 36 years old by the way, not 40. But this is late trying to make a comeback. But it's not as bad as Rodman struggling to come back at age what? 44?
he needs money for drugs and alcohol. with another nba contract he can get all the junk and booze he wants again. i don't buy him being anything good if he makes a comeback.
Despite all the effort he's put into his exercise and workouts, I doubt he can still do anything at the age of 36, where is body has gained much weight since his last time in the NBA. I just dont think he'll make an impact.
