for a true laker fan to root for the heat? I question laker fans who root for the heat, they don't seem genuine. After the constant jabs in the media to everyone in the organisation including now Phil jackson, i don't know how some laker fans still like him. I would agree if they said they loved the Laker shaq, but the miami heat shaq is an ass and i hope he fails.And just for the laugh, Shaq said Jerry buss didn't want to give him enough money even though Buss was willing to keep shaq as the highest paid player on the lakers. He was also willing to pay him more than miami is giving him now.Classic.
It's just up to the person really. To he honest I never really gave a d@mn about what happens off the court. That is why I am still a Shaq fan. I want to see Shaq win it because he deserves it. It would be good for his legacy. But I wouldn't be upset if he lost because the heat isn't my favorite team.
It does depend on the person. It would be hard for some people to hate him because he was the main reason you guys had that dynasty. Replace him with anyone else in that time and I don't think you would have won 3 straight.

It's the way you leave. If you pull a shaq or a tmac where you call you're fomer team "not a real team" then you're obviously going to be hated by the team you've left.

I have uttermost love for Laker Shaq considering he brought us 3 championships. I would've still loved him if he didn't take cheapshots at everyone on the lakers including phil jackson.I don't hate Shaq because he left us, he has to right to go wherever he wants. You do not see me hating on Derek fisher or Robert horry. They left and didn't cause a controvesy.And i do appericiate what he's done for this organisation but that's the past and now it's the present. Shaq's the enemy unless he returns to LA. I agree on your reasons for hating Shaq, they are very valid. I just dont feel that hate. I like how this tested Kobe's leadership abilities.And I have never seen an Orlando TMac jersey on anyone since he got traded. That says something.
