DETROIT (AP)—Brett Favre’s(notes) record consecutive starts streak ended at 297 on Monday when he did not suit up for the Minnesota Vikings’ game against the New York Giants.

The streak, dating back to 1992, ended because of a right shoulder injury on Minnesota first series Dec. 5 against Buffalo.

Love him or hate him that's still an amazing streak.

LMAO... as soon as that play happened vs Minny.... I thought The Buffalo Bills will now be a trivia question. Which team ended Brett Farve's streak?

BUFFALO BILL ARTHUR MOATS...an emerging young LB for my Bills!

I used to be a huge Favre fan. Probably the most fun QB to watch for me. But, his act has gone old. Retire.
