http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/5668392# It's actually Dime Magazine that does it. This is just laughable...Ronnie Brewer over Rudy Gay? [IMG]<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>When the Dime guys last mocked the NBA draft, Tyrus Thomas was in a free fall. But that's all changed. See who they've got taking the LSU forward.</div> Why did he fall and suddenly rise up? He has not worked out or anything...what f*cking idiots...

Terrible. Bargnani is a terrible fit in Toronto with Bosh, Villanueva, Bonner, and now Humphries. He can not play center, and they should not push Bosh to be one.

Next - Rudy Gay slipping to 9? WTF? I know damn well Danny Ainge would make sure he doesn't go past 7 (even though it's our least needed position). They also said O'Bryant was 7'2'' when he's 7'0''.

Again, people thinking we will pick Bargnani :rolleyes:Have these guys even seen us play as a team? We have plenty of shooters, and plenty of guys at PF, including hte #1 facet of our franchise, Chris Bosh!. Why the hell would we draft a PF? Can these guys get that through their thick skulls?

Are you kidding? No way Gay would even slip to you. He is most likely a top 5 pick. Top 7 at the least..

    - Brewer going ahead of Gay? Not happening- Gay is almost a guarentee to go in the top 5- Patrick O'Bryant is not 7'2

I agree, Gay will not slip to us by any means, but your comment was funny. You said "No way Gay would even slip to you. Top 7 at the least." We have the 7th pick haha.

I was about to post this. Man...If it were like that why in the hell would we pass up Rudy Gay? We could either play him at the 2 spot or move him to the 3 and put Mac to the 2.

Other than Shaq and Yao there are not any scary centers in the game, Bargnani is 7'0" 240 pounds, he can come in and fill the spot. I could care less who you pick but I don't see why you throw such a fuss over it. I'm sure Bargnani would be fine playing against Adonal Foyle, Jeff Foster, Eddy Curry, Raef LaFrentz...etc...Again you make too big of a deal over position, PF's and C's are becoming interchangeable. NBA fans for some reason think Aldridge is going to be a tough center when in reality he plays like a pansy...like Channing Frye...

We dont need another shooter, we need an inside scorer. Bargnani can not play Center, he is too skinny to get in there in the post. We dont need another finesse player. You don't get it, do you?

Bargnani can play center. Look at the NBA, you don't need an Alonzo Mourning in the middle anymore, the NBA is a perimeter game. Their is no big tough center in this draft that fits what you want let alone any big tough centers in the NBA. LaMarcus Aldridge is a finesse player and isn't much stronger than Bargnani.

Chris did take it in every now and then, but he go most of his points off of baseline jumpers to be honest, and his post play isnt where it needs to be. OKAY WTF, why would we want a pussy like Bargnani to play Center for us just so he could shoot the ball for us. We are the best or 2nd best 3 point shooting team in the NBA. We don't need to use the #1 pick on someone just because he can shoot. We have tons of offense already. And with Bargnani at Center, our defense would never get better, it would get worse. We don't want an Alonzo Mourning, but we need someone who can play some god damn defense. The NBA is a perimeter game, but we have enough perimeter players, now we need some inside scorers, like Aldridge. LaMarcus Aldridge isn't a finesse player. He gets the rebounds, blocks, he has some nice post moves, and he can run the floor well, and over power people. He isn't a pansy like Bargnani. We need someone at Center who actually plays the Center position..

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Weaknesses: In high school he developed a reputation for being soft and not showing enough heart. Scouts still have some question marks about his toughness inside. But still struggles against big and strong players on the NCAA level ... Not a physically imposing player inside, plays more a finesse game. Needs to get nastier ...</div> NBADraft.net on Aldridge. I just love how you continue to use every European stereotype on Bargnani, you somehow get the idea that he can't score inside and that he only shoots from the perimeter, and now he's a 'pussy'...give me a break. If you score the second most ppg why are you so obsessed with having an inside scorer?
