Matthews was offered before Cho was GM. Matthews signed on 7/10/10, Cho signed as GM on 7/21/10.

Pendy was hurt for the season. Marks was a fall back from a fall back (Oberto). I'm betting that the NOH pick is solid, no way they win 50+ and I'm guessing around 40-44.

No vote. Still too early to tell!!!

Overall, I thought Pendgraph waive was fine. Getting the pick for bayless...kind of meh. On one hand, Bayless didn't really fit well here.

Pretty sad we still don't have a backup PF though.

He has come into a horrible situation with all the injuries and gigantic ego's but he seems very idle.

His attempt to acquire Jamal Crawford signals to me that he's scrambling. Deciding to not trade Rudy before his trade value went from low to non-existent is coming back to haunt him.

As he 'analyzes' and 'crunches numbers' he's missing out on deals by waiting too long.

Just watch, Pendy will sign with the team next season.

    Cho thus far?

    Incomplete.

Like I said, he's a paper pusher, not a deal maker. The future of GMs my ass. Maybe he'll surprise me, but I doubt it.

How many trades has there been since the season started and why isn't Cho involved in those?

Cho must know it is not the substance of the trade but how quick and how many trades you can do in a short time period that counts.

I didn't like the Bayless deal, but I don't think one deal (which really has yet to fully play out) is sufficient to rate him.

Yeah. Can't really rate him not until he has all of next summer to wheel and deal.

This kind of makes you wish for Trader Bob though.

Cho needs to understand that the key to being a good GM is being scrappy.

Not mention, the phrase 'let it bake' doesn't quite jive with sushi.

I 'approve' ... but really that's just my way of saying I don't really have an opinion yet. By the trade deadline and the upcoming draft I think I'll have enough info to form an opinion.

No matter how bad the situation, a team can always find an excuse to do nothing.

    Color me unimpressed.

Right now, discretion is the better part of valor. We have to figure out what our new plan is and we have to guess about the limitations of the new CBA. For example, imagine if we traded our expiring deals for players with long term deals and the new CBA had a hard cap? We'd be more stupped than we are now.

I still think Cho was the best obtainable guy for the job. Of course, I wanted to keep KP.

Cho's one trade has not been good, so no.
