We've been wanting to get a puppy for a little bit now and Karla got one from work yesterday. A cleaning lady at her work had a couple dogs that had puppies and we knew she had 3 males to give away and that it was about time for them to be weaned, but she surprise Karla bringing the last one in yesterday. They had decided to keep him, but the only female, the runt of the litter, had died and she didn't want to see any puppies because they reminder her of the female puppy that they orginally was only going to keep before deciding to keep the one they gave to us. I feel bad the female died, but am happy we got this puppy. He's a rat terrier/terrier mix. He's about 8.5 weeks old. Completely weaned. He is a real character. Loves to play. I hope to get a movie when I find our camera. These pics was done by a webcam. Oh, I named him Butters after a character on South Park.
I haven't had one since I took Cougar to be put to sleep. That was a few years ago. I think that's the longest I've been without a dog. This one even has a tramp stamp.
We're waiting for my son's fourth birthday to get a dog. I can't wait because there are few things that make your life better than a great dog.
