mental breakdowns (the blazers did foul there at the end) + bad calls by the refs. good effort though. don't feel bad about this loss.

That's simply not true, the vast majority of posters want Roy to come off the bench.

I even started a poll asking if Roy should start, or come off the bench; not one single vote for start.

Hell of an effort for a team that was given every opportunity to quit.

Just popped in to say fuck you Dirk and fuck you refs.

LA had a fantastic game though and Wesley was his usual money self.

I'm happy with the effort. I'm sad we couldn't get the win as it could have been a HUGE momentum swing for the season. But it was not meant to be--just like this entire season...err decade of Blazer basketball.

Nice to see Batum make an appearance tonight. Hopefully he's over his little slump. He really needs to start because Roy can't get it done at either end right now. It's sad.

I criticize Aldridge all the time, but he had an absolutely amazing game. Andre had two consecutive turnovers in the last two minutes.. That's what lost us the game.

These games are the ones that frustrate me the most. We all know Aldridge has this talent....he just rarely uses it. Why???

Andre was PISSED at the end of the game launching the ball. I also saw him going off on the bench when Nate took him out at the end of the 3rd qtr when the Mavs stretched the lead back out to 10. Anyone else see this?

I said to my brother that Aldridge looked possessed. Why can't he try that hard more often? Was it because he was in his home town? That's a little ridiculous to me. He should be able to show that kind of effort more often.

I saw it. Maybe he tossed the ball at the end of the game cause his two turnovers on consecutive possessions with under 2 minutes to play squashed our chances of winning.

I think we'll see this team become more Aldridge-centered as the year goes on. LA has been playing second and third fiddle for a long time. He has the talent to be a #1 option.

I am hoping that Aldridge sees that Roy will never be the go to guy again and knows that it is his time to take over. Maybe the mental part will finally be there full time.
