WTF are you talking about? Matthews has the 3rd highest PER on the team.

LOL 16.78. I wonder where the hell I got that other number from? I read it somewhere before I typed that response.

Before blowing up the team, why not try a different coach with the same players?

We'd find out who we should really trade. Trade values might reverse for some players.

I have a feeling you're as close to the truth of what will happen as anyone. It's ten times easier to exchange coaches than it is to totally strip a roster down and rebuild ... we'll probably find out that it's as much a personnel issue as it is coaching related after all, but what can you do?

    :dunno:

It appears we'll be a little under .500 until we add a couple of our annual Allen-funded FAs (Turkoglu, Milsap, Andre Miller, Matthews). I think Camby and Miller will last a couple years beyond the 2 years we have them under contract, and that we should keep them.

So about 3-4 years from now, I see Camby and Miller leaving, replaced by the 3-4 Matthews-quality FAs we have picked up, one per summer. Only then do we get back to 50-win territory.

These are the perfect 4 years to try a new coach (and a second one, if the first new one fails after 2 years). We're going to be like .400 to .450 anyway. What's to lose.

If my math is right, then I'd say 50 to 45
