Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion That was so stupid of them to trade Brandon Roy for Randy Foye. They need defense, and someone who could really contribute right away. If they wanted Foye, why not just pick him at #6?
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion Actually, the Wolves had one of their worse offensive seasons in franchise history, 28th in PPG I think. They couldn't score in the 4th quarter well. And I heard that the Wolves knew the Blazers wanted Roy, so the Wolves picked Roy to get something out of him, which was cash and Foye.
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion I don't think it was that big of a deal, mostly because they got cash. One thing I like about Roy is he has a true position, where will Foye play this year?
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion Foye said he can play both PG and SG.Mostly they got cash? Foye is being compared to Wade and Billups. Foye basically had the same PPG, RPG and a lower APG compared to Roy last year.PG - BanksSG - FoyeSF - DavisPF - GarnettC - BlountIf Banks doesn't come back..PG - FoyeSG - DavisSF - HassellPF - GarnettC - BlountThat's what I've seen from other Wolf fans.
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion I hear on the radio that there may be a part two to this deal, to be announced after July 1, which is Jaric+Maddog for Miles. If this were to happen, the deal would make a whole lot more sense.

Portland screwed it up though so it messed everything up. We were forced to then trade them Roy and get our guy, Foye, from them.
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion Yes, it would make alot more sense if they were trading for Miles. But that brings up another question up: what in the world would they want darius miles for??
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion I would be happy to get Miles. Foye/Davis/Miles/KG would be a hyper athletic team that could run well. I would be happy to dump Jaric, he played dirt poor, and hes got a long contract. What is Miles contract length?
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion I would rather have Miles than Jaric. 5 years worth $41,250,000 is Miles which is about the same as Jaric's and Madsen's put together. I don't think Portland knew what they were doing last night though. They made so many trades and some of them didn't make sense.
Re: T'wolves Draft Discussion I guess that would be an uber athletic team, not sure how happy that would make KG though. Miles isn't quite the caliber of player I imagine KG has in mind to help him out. They could sure run though. Portland is still in a tough spot. Randolph, Miles, and Dixon should all be moved IMO, they are not character guys, certainly not good for this promising talent they have. They should have kept White and tried to move Dixon. Jack, Roy, Aldridge, Outlaw, and Webster should all get huge minutes. Portland has not chance in winning now so they should just develop there team and they will win a few games by pure luck/athletism. I think White or Alexander Johnson would have been good for them. Freeland? Should have moved him for some 2nd round picks if thats what they wanted, Johnson has some potential and could have been great behind Aldridge for years to come, so not sure why they did that. I think Blake is a solid back up a semi vet and good character guy. Miles needs to be gone. Randolph has been replaced, horrible character. Resign Ghost Face! Raef is a solid character vet. Ha, ha. Now on to the Wolves. Foye and McCants, can they co-exist? Banks is pretty much gone right? Griffin, keep your head straight. Blount, ehh I guess he works in the middle. Davis I think he is a solid second option to KG, they should keep him. I take it he will move to the 3 full time? Or Foye, Davis, Hassel, KG, Blount? They have some wholes McHale better get his stuff together.
