Second baseman Orlando Hudson has reached agreement on a contract with the San Diego Padres pending completion of a physical exam, a baseball source confirmed to ESPN.com Friday. Hudson said he expected to sign with San Diego during an interview with MLB Network Radio on Friday morning. His deal with the Padres is worth $11.5 million over two years, according to the Associated Press. Hudson, 33, will replace David Eckstein.
