Bulls lost 99-100 They really troubled without Noah. But at the end you can check free throw shooting as the reason for this loss. Game #1 lost because of bad FTs (15-23 / .652).
We missed Noah's defense. Davis drove down the lane numerous times. With Noah playing he would have been blocked. Adjustments have to be made. Either the clippers were red hot like the Knicks were against us, or without Noah we are going to struggle some nights. When Rose missed the free throw, I was dissapointed. I can't hold it against him. Gibson, thomas, and boozer were in foul trouble(asik too?) most of the night. We were playing short handed to begin with, this really affected our offense and defense.
I think having Noah miss some time will ultimately be good for this team. Boozer's defense has been horrific all season, but without Noah to cover for him it's a layup line. He's going to have to get his shit together or he will be embarrassed night after night. I thought both Asik and Thomas played well for the Bulls; probably the best games of the season for both of them. I hope Asik can continue to get his shit together -- I'm just waiting for him to have that break out game where he drops twelve and fifteen or something like that. Gibson has had issues with his move to the bench too. It will be nice to get him back in his groove.
