There are a lot of naysayers out there when it comes to a man named Paulie Malignaggi. You always hear about his brittle hands or his lack of knockout power or his ever-changing hairstyle, etc. I’m here to stand up for the man they call the Magic Man. Malignaggi just scored a 6th Round Stoppage over Michael Lozada ( 36-7 29 KOS) in the co-feature bout ob the Hopkins-Pascal card. It’s been a long time since Paulie scored a knockout and won in such dominating fashion. Say whatever you want about Lozada being a nobody, but a man with that many KO’s could connect with one lucky power shot and change the course of a fight. No one expected Sergio Martinez to knock Paul Williams out like that , right? Malignaggi is just too slick to let that happen to him. I personally like Malignaggi because the guy has substance in and out of the ring. He handles every interview with class. He knows when to talk smack and when to pull back. He’s a boxer who has truly had some major downfalls and some great accomplishments. He knows how to operate within the business world of boxing extremely well. Signing with Golden Boy at this stage in his career is a testament to that. Read more: http://myboxing.com/2010/12/19/paulie-magic-man-malignaggis-new-birth/
