Luis Lazarte retained his IBF light flyweight title in a 12-round majority draw Saturday against Ulises Solis. Two judges scored the fight 113-113 while the third scored it 117-109 in favor of Solis. Lazarte (48-9-2) improved to 2-0 in his title defenses for this belt, but did himself no favors in receiving a two-point deduction. Solis (32-2-3) successfully defended the title eight times between 2006-2008.
