NFL football betting players are watching an MVP race for the ages this year as New England’s Tom Brady is the frontrunner, but Philadelphia’s Michael Vick isn’t far behind and with two games left, we’re going to tell you who has the edge. Brady has been unconscious this season as he leads the league in passer rating, touchdowns and he’s sixth in the NFL in yards. He threw two picks in the game after Randy Moss was released, and hasn’t been intercepted since as the Patriots have won nine of 10 games, and they’ve scored 30 points or more in their last six games after a 31-27 win over Green Bay. Brady has been much more vocal this year as the Patriots are a young team in need of veteran leadership, and Brady has embraced the role by getting everyone on board with what the team is trying to do, on both sides of the ball. Even those watching NHL scores have been keeping up on what Vick has been doing in Philadelphia, and he’s turned the Eagles into arguably the most explosive team in the league. Vick is third in the league in passer rating, and while he’s outside of the top 10 in terms of yards and touchdowns, Vick’s ability to make something happen with his legs is a weapon that no other quarterback in the NFL has. This was in full effect in Sunday’s comeback win against the Giants as Vick ran for 130 yards, and broke a couple of big plays when it looks like the Giants had him cornered. These two are probably the top price per head players when it comes to buying a ticket because there isn’t anyone who you’d want to watch play more. Chances are, you’re going to see something spectacular when you watch them, and you wouldn’t be wrong picking either for the MVP award. Brady won this award in 2007 when the Patriots set a slew of offensive records, and he’ll likely earn the award again, just because the Patriots are so young, they don’t have much of a running game, and their best weapons have been a slot receivers (Wes Welker) and two rookie tight ends (Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski). Vick has DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Brett Celek and LeSean McCoy to help him with the offensive load, and that could hurt him when it comes to the voters. Make no mistake about it: Vick is a shoo-in for the Comeback Player of the Year award (which was won, ironically, by Brady last year after he recovered from a knee injury), and you wouldn’t even be wrong if you gave your vote to Vick. But Brady has done more with less this year, and that’s why he should get your sports bet for MVP award.
