Snow Sledding

About to head up to Mt hood and was wondering if anybody has any ideas where we can go sledding. The wife and kids, nothing to crazy. Prefer to be as close as possible.

You and I are going sledding when you come to MN right? We have more snow here then what we know what to do with.

 

Run a long plywood ramp down one of the stairwells in the Metrodome.

But no hills.

 

Aww come on mate, we got hills that will have you breathless for a good 15 seconds. Actually, Fargo makes Minneapolis look like the damn Rockies.

ABM, my uncle is a big shot at the dome, so that actually is plausible lol.

 

Snow Bunny Sno Park right after gov't camp on the left.

You rent tubes and they have big hills you walk to (put the kids on your lap) or they have small hills right there where you rent . . . the little ones can ride by thenselves.

Go on a sunny day, tube, build snowmen, pack a lunch, take pictures, and make sure to leave the mountan before the ski traffic hits. Makes for a great family day.

 

Snow Bunny is the place.

 

Thanks guys, we found a nice place in Government Camp. It was just this big clearing with some hills..... made our own runs!
