I must have missed it. I saw the replay last night on TNT. Williams missed a crucial freethrow and Cousins does about 10 seconds of the choking gesture, even walking toward Williams... So hilarious that then Cousins choked on those final rebounds and lost the game for his team. What a knucklehead. But he was talking trash to players all game, GS players and his own teammates. His body language is about the worst I've ever seen. He just seems like a bad mix of bully/immature baby/bad person. Hanging his head, shaking his head at his teammates mistakes. Just fact that he is a rookie and like on the first trip down court he was already talking trash to Lou Amundson before they had even ran a play, lol... He just seems like a really talented, enormous, young spoiled kid who is also just a bad person in general. I get the impression he wasn't exactly raised to be a stand-up citizen... Despite the crazy upside, he'll probably only be a cancer for Sacto... And despite the crazy upside, I am SO glad GS did not accidentally end up with this dude. I am SO glad they have Udoh instead! Udoh is like the anti-Cousins... constant hustle, prides himself on defense, and he's supposed to be about the best young man, character wise, to enter the NBA in a long time...
Yeah when it comes to Udoh vs Cousins I think we're lucky to have ended up with Udoh. Wouldn't totally write Cousins off as hes only supposed to be a college sophomore. The talent is insane and there's a fine line between being nuts and being lazy. We don't know yet if Cousins is either or both but you can get by being an odd ball if you still bust your ass (i.e. Ron Artest, Gil, etc.). The thing that I'm coming to realize is that it looks like if Cousins ever does pay off it'll be after, at the very least, one change of scenery.
