"Patrick Kane is likely to return to the lineup while goalie Marty Turco will get his second straight start when the Blackhawks visit St. Louis on Tuesday.

"He skated pretty well today and felt good," Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said after Monday's practice at the United Center. "He looked good today."

Kane participated in full drills during Monday's hour-long workout and confirmed he would travel to St. Louis.

"I'm going to skate in the morning (on Tuesday) and then we'll make a decision after that," said Kane, who has been out since Dec. 5. "I would say it's pretty probable."

Kane said his left ankle injury and subsequent recovery process came an an opportune time.

"I'm pretty happy with where I'm at," he said. "It's a long season and if there's any time ... to be injured it's right now because down the stretch you want to be healthy and ready to go and make sure you're playing your best hockey.""
