I thought Argentina would win, but i also felt an upset coming.</div>Yeah, it sucks. [IMG] They were outplaying Germany but then their goalie got injured. Bad luck, but sh*t happens. Oh well. That was an exciting game, probably the best game of the Cup and I enjoyed watching it.England surprised me. Portugal didn't have 2 good players for the game and Ronaldo was playing injured. I'm happy Portugal won since it will make for a more exciting match-up in the next round. My prediction for the next game: Brazil 2 France 0

Im not dissapointed but amazed, what a game!!! This had to be one of the best so far IMO. Brazil came out slow and France took advantage with that goal. They attacked late in the 2nd but it was too late. Props to France though.

they got Portugal next, that should be easy for France, so maybe, just maybe France will win. Germany will be in the final too so France vs. Germany will be good

Right now I'm thinking Italy vs. France, but don't underestimate Portugal. I think they have a good chance at that one.

I got to say, this World Cup has been so exciting I think i'll start watching more soccer. My whole family loves the sport. I know the MLS isn't really a good league but I think I will watch it some more. Hopefully Arizona gets a team one day. :)Freddy Adu is going to single-handedly beat all the European teams in the future, lol. [IMG] (I'm joking Mixx, no need for any stupid comebacks :bat: )But....<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>2005: Adu made four appearances for the U-20 U.S. Men's National Team at the FIFA World Youth Championships, helping the team to the round-of-16. In all, he made nine appearances (seven starts) and contributed three goals and an assist in all competitions in 2005.</div> :beerchug:

He will be playing for the US though. He may have been born there but I think he is a US citizen now and he does play for the under 20 US team. He is expected to play on the national team for the next World Cup.I'm going ahead and reading more about it in threads about him. Seems like it's his choice and he has been living here since he was 8 and his family is here. I'm pretty sure Adu will play for the US

Portugal plays rough, very similar to Mexico. They beat England today because they played a more rougher style, although there were more reasons (Beckham went out, Rooney got in foul trouble). I only saw the France-Brazil game up to halftime, and I just had a feeling France would pull an upset in the 2nd half. The way they just dominated the ball...I had a feeling. Soccer's getting very addicting for me lately. [IMG]
