Wow. But you know, last year, when we had brutal stretches, we surprised people. Remember the road trip last December when we went 3-1 beating Dallas and San Antonio with Bayless and Juwan starting?
Season over? In the middle of January? And here I thought it went until April. I guess you left the second half of January off of your list because at home vs. New Jersey, Minnesota, Clippers, Pacers, Kings and Boston and only one road game at Sacramento didn't sound nearly so intimidating.
That would make for an interesting NBA schedule if there were "elimination" portions of the schedule: "If you lose 6 in a row <here>, your season is over." I like this idea.
To be honest the sooner this team implodes the better. Nate can be fired and we can rebuild. We hit a perfect storm with our two franchise players in Oden and Roy and we have a coach that I swear panics when he has to draw up a play. NEXT! There is nobody on this board who knows hoops that thinks we can beat LA, San Antonio, Dallas, Denver Or Utah in a playoff series. No chance in hell with this group and most importantly a coach who doesn't understand his teams strengths and keeps thinking we can crank out a half court set against seasoned teams without any plays. Laughable!
I guess it all depends on what each poster's interpretation of "season being over" means. Because to me, my expectations were for 55 wins and a 2nd round playoff birth went out the window the moment I heard Oden was out and was closed shut during November when B-Roy started to experience much more knee pain. So for me, the season's been "over" for quite some time now. It's all about watching the young players grow for me and easier on the stress level to watch without expectations.

The *happy fun person* that started this thread also said we were going to get KILLED by the Bucks at home! We won by 26. We may lose a bunch of these games, but what does this thread accomplish. As a true die-hard Blazer fan, you'd think this would upset you.
Repped. We are not winning a title this year. We may not even make the playoffs. However, I am not going to bitch about it every day. There are still plenty of reasons to watch this team and threads like this just show MIXUM is trolling.
