This team would be absolutely terrible to watch. Camby said he wants to retire a Blazer. Miller says he wants to play 'til he's 40. They're both relatively old. What's your stance on trading them (one or both). I'm interested to see where people stand, especially after the recent Roy news.

Well, it's just a matter of whether you use them to help our future, because I feel this team just isn't good enough to win in the playoffs. I wish they were, but I think we need to retool and build around Aldridge, Matthews, and Batum.

Depends on the return. I can't make a selection without knowing that.

Get a lot, trade them both. Get not much, keep them both. Get a lot for one, a little for the other? Trade one, keep the other.

The Blazers are 17-16 now, and Camby and Miller have never won anything.

They are the best trade assets on the roster, outside of PrzyEC. Why would you keep productive veterans until they are past their prime? If deals exist for them that make sense for the future, but hinder the team in the short term, I think you have to make those trades.

Camby got to the Finals... or were you talking about championships? Because Barkley, Ewing, Malone, and Stockton never won "anything" either.

If the stars align next year where Oden is healthy and can play a full season and there isn't a lockout, boy, it'd sure be nice to have Miller and Camby on the team to go for a deep playoff run.

But that's a lot to hope for. It probably makes more sense to trade them for talented younger players so that we're ready to roll at the start of the *gulp* 2012-13 season.

lol. Expectations have been so diminished I'm beyond "Wait til next year!"

I voted to keep them both for this season because I just don't think that you're likely to see a deal that brings back enough talent to be worth making the move mid-season. Obviously, if the NOH want to give us Chris Paul in exchange, I'll be happy to change my vote.

This is basically how I feel, and I will throw in Joel as well. While trading them could make us a worse team this season, it might very well make us a better team next season. The three vets are our best assets right now, and teams would benefit from getting them. If we can somehow trade talent for fairly safe potential it would be a good move. If you trade them, you certainly won't get equal value in terms of production right now. What you are looking for is a Miller or Camby for the future at this point. Our core now is LMA, Wesley, and Batum. So you need a PG and a center.

I love both Miller and Camby but the core is Aldridge/Matthews/Batum. If we can get younger talent or another superstar with a lopsided trade, then I'm all for trading Miller and Camby. We need a change to get better and they're two of the three most valuable trading assets we have.

I'm in the keep 'em camp, but like most would be fine with parting them for the right player. Problem in my mind is I don't think we're going to get a very good return for them. I also don't consider Batum a part of the core. To me it's Aldridge/Matthews. I think Miller/Camby are next most important to our immediate success, but they also can potentially benefit us by being traded.

Who are we talking about getting? Name names. Seriously who is available? I am sure we will hear more names in the next 45 days.

Right. If we get a package like Crash/Diop/Augustine, I'm in. If we get two second round picks and Jamal Magloire from the Heat, oh my god...why does that sound like something Cho would do? I just scared myself.

I know Camby is old, but he did have 20 rebounds tonight. So he has value.

Charlotte does not want old players. What contenders out there need Camby or Miller. There is will you will find our trade partners.

We need an injury to San Antonio to occur. They have some young talent.

Trade the hell out of them. I love watching them play, but we are wasting their last good years IMO.

Yeah... depends on what you get for them. Don't trade just to trade. Gotta get a package of good young players.

Camby is important to the defensive and rebounding psyche of the team. LMA by himself isn't getting it done, and Sean Marks...guh.

Miller has value both in talent and being cap-friendly. Obviously we're ok if we keep him, but I think he's going to be able to net us some young (maybe not ready for prime time, but talented) value at the PG or C position.

I'm really going to be sad to see them go, but that's inevitable because of age anyway. So my vote is to get something while you can, because post-lockout chances are slim to none they'll be back due to their age.

On the other hand if the only thing we can get for them is a bad contract and a second round pick then what's the damn point?

I value what both players bring to the table, but you have to be a realist. The Blazers won't be playing any meaningful games between now and 2012. Miller and Camby aren't going to be part of that, whether they stay or get traded. If you can turn them into decent young players, or even decent draft picks, it would foolish not to do it.

    Trade Przybilla 1st and foremost...

Only deal Camby and\or Miller if the return is good...not just to get something...both have another year left on thier deals...Przybilla does not...

Cho has to at least deal one of the 3 at the deadline IMO...Przybilla is the likeliest candidate...
