Bulls ahead 92-87. Bulls need to find a way to score again in 4th quarter. They sure don't want to lose against the Cavs, who are last in Eastern Conference.
Another ho-hum ugly victory. I'll take them. This team needs Noah's chili, and until they get him back, they'll continue to suffer on the boards and defensively. Asik had a nice stretch of ball before he ran out of gas. Brewer is getting better by the game if Korver seems to be getting worse. Boozer is a transcendent offensive player even if his D sucks. More of what we already knew.
Taking care of business. The NBA season is a grind and good NBA teams conserve energy and only expend the energy they need to get the win. The 3rd quarter of this game was so encouraging to watch, since it was clear that the Bulls knew they were the better team and just turned it on for a spurt to get the game in hand. Average to bad NBA teams lose these games in the dog days of the NBA season. I remember when we were the Cavs of the NBA and blowing games against better teams that we "should" have won. Its nice to be on the other end of this equation now. This team isn't perfect, but I've never been more proud to be a Bulls fan post-MJ than right now.
And they know there's some ways to go. Verrrrry promising start to the season, in spite of hardships and difficulties. Go Bulls!
