Its not too hard of a concept really. Mixum is a troll, has always been a troll and always will be a troll. Denny, Ed and all the moderators know it, I know it, you know it. But, he generates responses and page long debates with the absolute garbage that he posts. Thus generating activity and hits to this website.

So as long as his schtick is effective and he continues to tip-toe the line we will have to put up with his nonsense and garbage links to Dwight Jaynes and such.

We can bitch and complain all we want. It won't change anything. The only thing that will is not even giving that low life a response to his poorly written and absolute garbage posts.

 

How about you don't bitch and complain? MIXUM does actually generate good conversation. Dwight Jaynes is a writer who writes about the Blazers. MIXUM gets attacked straight away whenever he posts a link? That's ridiculous. You and other people just make things worse by continuing to attack. If you don't recognize the validity of a link or article, don't participate in the thread.

 

How about give me examples of bitching and complaining in the last couple months? You won't find it. I've realized why moderators let him get away with it. He generates activity when he illicits as much negative reaction with his trolling. Dwight Jaynes writes about the Blazers like we write about the Blazers. Same thing. Same access to the team. Get over it.

This is such a stupid and tired out line that the moderators keep posting. Do they just have a section in the moderators forum that you can cut and paste for use?

This argument of "don't participate in a thread that you don't like" is beyond stupid and doesn't address the issue.

 

I'm not auditioning to be a moderator. I do not know MIXUM is a troll, nor do I think it. You shouldn't presume to know what others think. It is my opinion that MIXUM is a Blazer fan. Can't you tell how many different ways there are of being a fan? Maybe his way is annoying to some. I agree that the people who don't like him, or what he posts, should not respond to him. But it is fairly easy to look at threads he starts and see that people start attacking him right away. I just don't think that's the right way to handle it. I wasn't trying to specifically call anyone out for doing this. I am just a regular poster in this forum. I am no longer going to have discussions like this in these threads. If you, or anyone else, wants to talk to continue this you can PM me. Although I suggest you PM a Blazer mod (Sorry, mods).

Color me confused about your perceptions of quality posts vs poor posts vs trolling vs regular poster vs links that are valid vs links that are not valid.

If you don't like to read shit posts, why do you make a shit post like this that all the rest of us have to read? Aren't you just adding to the shit? It is just as negative and mean spirited as you claim Mixum's post to be.

I don't have any problem with him posting links to Dwight Jaynes. He hasn't been a "published sports columnist" for a couple years now he's an opinion blogger (not that columnist aren't just hacks with an opinion either), to trump around his horrible opinion pieces as if they're fact is par for the course for a troll like Mixum.

I don't respond to his garbage anymore, you can feel free to though.

I'm just letting everybody who gets all riled up about the guy that everbody knows he's a troll and nothing is going to change until people just stop reacting to him.
