Yow. The Warriors are going up against the 3rd best rebounding team while GSW is in 28th place. The Magic do a lot better job in clogging the paint and are averaging 107 ppg during their current five game win streak. This "after" their big trade. We need to control the pace, be "on" from the perimeter and play some 'D' to win.

Well we know what kind of a defender JRich is. The warriors need to exploit his weakness. Not sure what we will do for guarding Arenas and Howard. It would be nice to at least have Gadz and Beans for depth/fouls.

The biggest difference may be the bench of each team. They have some good players there that can make a big difference.

This will be a brutal loss, looks like Lee is not going to play because of the fall he took in the Miami game. Not even halfway through the season and I'm already looking at what they can do to improve their lottery pick, so depressing. Right now they would have the 10th most ping pong balls but they're not that far from being in the top 5.

The Warriors aren't going to be bad enough for their draft pick to matter. They really need to do something bold in the off-season with free agency. I wonder if there's a lockout, if it would help the front office come up with a better plan for the future. In other words, would it buy them more time to become organized from within?

Yes, DLee is out with a sore tail bone, elbow and ankle. It means Udoh needs to get minutes, Amundson needs to produce (I don't think he's injured) and Radman not get off the bench.

Yeah, we're probably going to get a lower pick than last season. We can trade it for someone instead with top three protection. What about trading the pick for Jason Thompson or Carl Landry? I prefer Landry since JT is like Udoh. Landry said he's not going to re-sign with Sac'to, so he's prime for a trade.

I like Landry. Dude always kills the Warriors on the boards. I'd love to have a guy that does nothing but go after rebounds.

Chuck Hayes is another player that always does well against the Warriors.

Landry is awesome. Very skilled, athletic, good rebounder.

Does Smart get credit for DW's improvement? Dude looks amazing.

Udoh playing well. He and B. Wright playing together right now.

lol that one was so bad Smart actually yanked him.

BW with 4 pts and 5 rebs in 9 minutes at the half. Dunno if that rebound number is right but he does look alright. Got a key offensive rebound that lead to a 3. Udoh also slapped a missed Curry 3 back to Steph who then nailed a 3. Udoh's got 6 pts 3 reb and a block and hes playing Dwight. Hit a few J's, one was pretty deep and had another nice post move. Also altered a few other shots. Dwight was killing him early but hes looked fine after that.

Curry looks good too, very active, hes giving Jameer fits.

And yeah, if you wondered whether the Hedo, JRich, Gil, Redick, Jameer, Ryan Anderson was good on defense, they're not. Not even Dwight can save those guys lol.

god, they're so predictable. you know the first half lead is meaningless, they always just crumble down the stretch. i don't know if it's lack of depth, lack of experience, or lack of skill...but they are seemingly incapable of holding on to a lead.

Interesting second half. It was basically magic three point shooting practice. The Magic as many opponents in the past continued to shoot it uncontested. Instead of playing closer man defense the team goes to a zone. I think that was an odd adjustment. Offensively I think the Warriors need to be smarter and do more to exploit mismatches. I missed the first half, but I thought Dorell Wright did really well in the first half against Hedu, but it didn't seem as if the warriors went back to that matchup at all. Monta Ellis up against JRich and Reddick needed to get some more isolations against those guys. Instead we had jumpers from bigs and more Lou getting packed, etc.

I guess it's a lot of growing pains across the board...

Radmo is a moron. You ever notice those plays where he gets a turnover and then gets all flustered and commits a stupid foul? He's that kind of player. Keith Smart is crazy for sending him in to close out games. He doesn't have much composure to close out quarters. I'd seriously be open to putting swingman, Rodney Carney over him at PF.

Yeah, there are plays Vlad makes where you have to ask yourself, "has this guy ever touched a basketball in his life?"

Then he may make a couple of plays and you think, OK, now I see why he's in the NBA. Then a few moments later you are back to question one.

It looks like the team needs a backup SF though who can contribute. D. Wright is up there with Monta in the top five in the NBA in MPG. Because of injuries, and because Vlad is starting, the team is very thin in options to take Wright out of the game. Though with his production that's not so much a problem, perhaps.

I think we need to start doing something by trade deadline. If we can't find any star big players, I'm hoping we can at least stockpile some good young talent that can play the 4 and 5. Man, do we need more chances after screwing up most of our drafts for big men that were either there to pick or weren't there because we didn't get high up enough in the draft. I was hoping we could have used that 6'8 power forward that we put in the d-league. Richard Hendrix or Stephen Lasme. I don't care if they suck, they just need to hit the glass with authority. I'll freaking take Reggie Evans or Nick Collison, preferably Collison. I like the Kansas players.

Collison is a very underrated player. I'm with you, I love those big rebounders, guys like Landry, Millsap, Brand, and not surprisingly, those guys absolutely kill the Warriors.

I just started watching this game on comcast with their encore. The warriors are trying to get back in the game and they are throwing the ball to Gadzuric and Lou in places they aren't going to succeed. It's decent ball movement, but Curry needs to realize that a layup by him is better than tossing the ball to Gadz 6-8 feet from the hoop even if he is wide open. In general they just need to learn their teammates, their opponents and do a better job at giving themselves advantages instead of playing the same uninspiring basketball over and over.

The other problem is the turnovers. There were so many in the second half.

I liked Jeff Adrien...oh, and what ever happened to Chris Hunter? -- I just checked... D-League, 14PPG/6.4RPG/51%FG in 21 minutes a night. Not bad.
