Got to the arena as the team was walking out after shoot around. Talked to Przybilla and he said he was going to play tonight. Good news.

That's not just good news, but great news. Remember how Joel can get under Chandler's skin. I look forward to a Tyson Tech tonight.

Portland should kill Dallas tonight since they are without Dirk and Butler. Joel playing should only help that

Oh, and thanks, Mixum, 2 hours ago when you posted this

Portland has been a different team on the road, so I don't agree. Dallas still has a lot of good players many of whom are experienced, and most of whom, would be playing ahead of guys on this team at the same position.

    Who would start?

    Miller and Kidd are close
    Matthews > Terry
    Batum > Stevenson
    Aldridge > Marion
    Camby and Chandler are close

I'm not sure who would start ahead of anyone on our team.

Um Terry is light years better on offense then Matthews. Defense matthew is much better. Chandler is much better better then camby. Berea also always destroys us. This is as notbas much of a gimmie as u think.

And mediorcre man... The reason u missed my post was likely because u were making a Nate sucks thread.

I didn't see a thread on this topic. I apologize. You can merge it with you Przybilla Returns Tonight thread if you want.

MIXUM posted that HCP had a conversation with Joel as Joel was leaving practice, two hours before it happened?

I don't agree that Miller and Kidd are close. Miller had one great game against him, but for the most part it has not been duplicated in effort before or since. Kidd has a resume that buries Millers. He may be old, but if I was asked to choose between those two, I go with Kidd every time. No question.

Mathews and Terry is a wash. They are different players with different strengths. I would want one to defend the other teams best player at the end of the game, and I would want the other to take the last shot at the end of the game. Terry has more experience, more playoff experience, and more big game experience.

Stevenson and Batum are both defenders who will never spend much time guarding each other, or scoring for that matter. If Marion was playing his normal SF position, he would start in front of Batum no question.

Aldridge is better than Marion at this point of his career. But Marion has enough game left to make it tough.

Camby and Chandler are almost twins of each other. Chandler is more physical and Camby has more offensive tools.

Now that being said, I have 2 more words to add. Golden State. For every good game Portland has on the road, they have 2 bad ones. We got a good one at Utah. I really don't expect another road win for a bit unless they change their road ways. When you are 6 and 13 on the road, that about says it all. This team plays well at home, and bites ass on the road.

Mgb.... Since u aren't reading my threads.... Perhaps u might wanna change your avatar since 2 of the 3 blazers in it have as big of a future with the blazers as Sean marks.

And Dallas even depleted has a better bench then we do.
