Don't know if this has been posted yet: http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=18387 Here is a tidbid, I don't know if this is taken out of context: "We really don't know when he'll be back," Blazers head coach Nate McMillan tells HOOPSWORLD. "We're leaving all options open at this point. We just felt we needed to give it some time and look at some other options. Rest has not really helped. For the next few weeks he'll continue to rest, talk to some people about other ways to try and get himself healthy, and then let him make a decision about whether he comes back or not."
If Rest is not helping, Bring him off the bench till he formulates a new style of play, a la Ginobili. It doesn't matter who we have at point guard, B-Roy's game needs a transformation.
I don't read it that way at all. I read it as Brandon Roy is done. Forever. Unless a medical miracle comes down the pipe.
Read between the lines and it says: "It hurts like fucking hell when I try to move, more so than ever before. I tried to grit through it. For a couple of games I was able to get past the pain and play my way, which encouraged me to keep at it. Mostly I can't get past the pain, and I suck. If I am going to suck, might as well not suffer with the pain. Anybody got the number of a witch doctor, cause I don't know what else to do?"
I agree with Mixum although everytime I read an article about Roy what I get from it is....."ill be back when andre miller is gone"
That's how I read it as well... this also agrees with a lot of the call-in docs who diagnosed him over the radio waves when it came out that he had the problem.
Roy has been bitching about personnel all season. He would totally come back if we got Nelson or Crawford
