nope. I didnt even mock Birdmans flapping and I hate him immensely, and I thought the Bird hands were stupid.

+1. I hate the guy. Could totally see liking him if he was on our team. One of those guys you love to hate. But I hate his flapping. That's probably more because it means he just blocked our shot. For individual cheering, I say go for it. Fans like it. Team mates like it. Riles up opponents. Why not. It's fun.

Dikembe's finger wag was pretty cool, though. Mainly because his index finger is about 16 inches long.

I am not sure who did that first, but I saw Jose Calderon doing that before I saw Rudy doing that.

What I like most is that the bench is throwing them up too. It's not just the one guy doing it.

The first time I recall seeing a combination of three fingers and an "ok" sign was Walt Williams when he played for us.

I don't think it's dumb. It builds camaraderie among the players.

Who cares if other people think its dumb... just like people dont get inside jokes but are hilarious to the people who are in on it. Didnt know the NBA was a god damned American Idol popularity contest.

I thought Stern banned taunting. This provokes the away crowds.

If someone wants to be a boastful braggart about his shooting, his shooting percentage should be well above average. If it's rare for him to make a shot, and he brags when he does, he's just reminding everyone how rare it is. Exception--I can see the emotional high from a player who's hot that night, strutting his stuff.
