...and was welcomed with cars honking, chants of, "Go Ducks!", and all kinds of football related festivities. Tomorrow I plan to venture out to the stadium and scout out the setup. My hotel room overlooks the main highway and I've been sitting in the window, counting the cars with Duck flags. They outnumber Auburn 5-1, but of course more Duck fans would drive here. I'm flying flags on my car and wearing official Duck gear and getting lots of support. Ran into a few Auburn fans and they have been great. Lots of energy. Will update later and as always, !GO DUCKS!
Just had coffee with a group of Tigers. They were a group of six. They just found out their tickets, bought through a friend via Craigslist, were fake. They are out thousands, including the cost to get here. They informed the local police setup a sting and arrested the guy who sold them their tickets. He had over 40 contacts in his phone, related to tickets. They said the fakes looked as genuine and real as could be and their entire weekend, along with their bank account is ruined. Sad story. Moral - only buy tickets from legit operations (stubhub, ebay) and pay through a method that you can recoup your losses if something goes south (credit card, paypal, etc.) Go Ducks!!
