I remember when we had a 5 page thread on this guy and people thought that he could play....He might be near Yao Ming size, but he has 1/10th the talent.
That guy plays on my local ABA (or whatever it is), team. The Grand Rapids Flight. I met him at a basketball tournament, and hes gigantic.
He looks like he could play about 4 minutes a quarter for an NBA team along side a quick athletic power forward.
Captain, he's on the CBA team.Ming was at my school, I swear to God. I didn't get to see him because of the bastard teachers. I've been telling people I've known Sun for over a year now, but I've never seen so much BS since I went to a farm. Ask Ripcity32 if Ming was at our high school, I swear to you guys.BUT HE'S HUGE!!!!370 lbs. Too bad he sucks.
The Nighthawks play like 5 minutes away from my house at a community college, it's pretty funny there. They have an announcer that trash talks the entire game, lol. I've been to a couple of games this season, it was pretty packed.
lets just hope that this guy continues to develop. he has the desire too, just not the skill. but skills can be taught to a certain point. I dont think he could be in the NBA, but maybe he could be successful in China or intntl tournaments.

I've been glancing over most of the posts and have a few things to say.First of all, so what, he's 7'9"...I would go as far as to say most forwards and centers can out jump him with ease. His vertical is probably under 12. Second, the NBA is becoming more and more fast pace. Half court sets are being seen less and less. What's he going to do against teams like Phoenix? The dude can't run.Third, I read articles about him 3 years ago trying to get into the NBA. It's not going to happen. He wouldn't even get time on a Division 1 basketball team given the things I have read.
It's too bad that he doesn't have much skill- basketball or pretty much anything else physical. If he wasn't so slow and could jump more than 10 inches he would make..something. How did he make it onto the CBA/ And what are his current stats?
