"Rest for what?" Miller said. "Where are we going? What do I need rest for? There's never been a problem with playing both minutes. No need (for me) to sit over there and rest.

Listen, I think trading Miller has become a MUST as long as we can get a PG back. He just doesnt fit with our team. You can see every team dares him to shoot and he cant shoot. If yo can get Devn Harris.... YOU HAVE TO DO IT. The only bad news is Miller never gets hurt and Harris always does. However Harris is better then miller at almost everything else.

Patty is playing more because of the trade deadline. More than likely the Blazers understand, like Miller siad, we aren't going anywhere. They would be foolish not to trade Miller, and if it means no PG coming back then Mills has got to be that guy for the remainder of the season

    The problem is, Patty isn't a PG. He's a sub-miniature SG.

I think everyone knows that too. People need to start coming to the realization that it's not about this year

No one mentioned tanking. But adding important pieces to the roster, while maybe sacrificing a position for this year should be done if that's what it takes. Holding on to Miller, Camby and joel would be foolish knowing this team isn't anywhere close to winning a title.

But Miller for Harris should be a no brainer- even if you toss in draft picks and certain other players. This wouldn't be tanking. We'd be better this year also. If we could get Harris, while keeping Mathews, Batum, Aldridge and Camby, then Cho should get executive of the year because we'd be in the hunt!

You are right on that MM, if we don't try for a Harris upgrade or something similar we'd be foolish not to trade Miller-Camby-Przy for the best we can get

But, is Harris REALLY an upgrade? He has a lower FG% than Miller, calls his own number more often and gets fewer assists. He's not as bad as Miller from 3 point range, but he's under 0.300 for the third season in a row. So, it's not like he's a good 3-point shooter. Is he an upgrade? Is he a better fit? If so, he's at best, a teeny, tiny bit better. Certainly not enough to make this team significantly better.

Sure, he's younger than Miller, but far, far less durable. He hasn't played more than 69 games in a season since 2006-07. What good is younger, if it's injured? Don't we have enough of that already?

I don't have a problem trading Anre Miller if we can get something back that makes the team better. I don't see Devin Harris being that something.

Have you heard of defense? Harris has the ability to be an elite level defender- Miller is not close to being that.

Of course I have. Has Harris?

He may have (or have HAD, before the injuries) the ability, but the results say otherwise. His DRtg the past three seasons is 111, 112 and 109. Hardly what I'd call "elite".

When Roy complains about his role he gets killed by the fans. I expect people to do the same to Andre "Hero" Miller.

Roy complained he wasn't getting the ball enough. Miller complained that he wasn't playing over Patty Mills

biggest issue with harris is him staying healthy.

he invented the term "nagging injury"

Harris was arguably the best defender at his position while in Dallas; last season he might have been the Nets' worst. The ability is there: He's tall for the position, extremely quick and great at taking charges. Yet the Nets -- one of the worst teams ever -- allowed 6.8 points per 100 possessions more with Harris on the court.

I think it's a good bet that moving to a winning situation/better coach returns him to his ability level. Nothing will make Andre Miller this level.

Roy was the best player on the team and arguably a top 10 player in the NBA. He should have gotten the ball more than Miller.

Miller doesn't realize he was 2-9 and he can't space the floor. Miller on the floor is a green light to double Aldridge. And Patty was actually making shots and not 2-9 like Miller.

Miller is a terrible person for complaining about his role. It's time for the whole city to turn on him.

I was wondering why Miller was in the last play of regulation. Put the ball in Mills hands that night on the last possession and I think Blazers win.

Blazers are in the playoff race with a lock out coming up and people want the Blazers to start think about next year?

I know a lot of season ticket holders who would not like to see the Blazers sacrfice this year for the future in the NBA that no one really knows when it will be and what the rules will be.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned about that three point shooting too. But I guess that's why he's available.

As for defense, I think his current defense is just a product of his current environment. It's pretty easy to give up on defense when nobody else on the team is defending and you are on a bad lottery team, with no fan base to motivate you at least in the home games.

He'd be an upgrade for us. He's about as good as we could hope for.

Well, actually I think I'd still rather us target Darren Collison. But I'm not sure how we'd get there.

I don't know? I guess that's true for some, if not many, but I am a season ticket holder...(even though I live in Houston now) and I would like to see something possitive for the future. It literally could be just me though?

Harris is actually posting the 8th highest assist % in the league at 41.3%, almost 4% higher than Andre Miller at 13.

It's the highest assist % he's posted in his career, and pretty amazing when you consider the talent around him.
