Admitted comcast hater here. But I've been keeping my eye on this, as I find it intriguing. Definitely has some potential. Keep your eye on the "moca" stuff which is supposed to be included. This is what may allow you to view anything on this DVR in other tv's in the house. For example, your watching your favorite show in the family room, decide you'd rather lay comfortably in your own bed and watch. Pause it, turn off the tv, go into the bedroom and resume.

That would be awesome! I always hate it when a show I have DVR'd is on our bedroom box but I want to watch it downstairs.

I've been watching Blazer games for 3 years in HD on a 60'' TV... not on my 15'' laptop screen. Just sayin! :devilwink: :)

You forget who you talking to?

Just because I USE a laptop to get the game doesn't mean I WATCH the game on it. Put it this way. I have a remote control just for my laptop. :pimp:

You will still need receivers for each TV, which I am sure Comcast will find a way to charge you for.

DOCSIS 3.0 & IPTV / h264 encoding are exciting technologies, unfortunately they will be hampered due to regressive corporate dictator overlords.
