whatever. Really. I'm done. How many Northwest sports teams need to get fucked by either the refs, or just flat-out run into BETTER teams than them, before we just sit down and realize that it's just not in the cards for Northwest sports fans to feel the ultimate victory moment? And before you start screaming "OREGON STATE BASEBALL" or "UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM" or "WASHINGTON HUSKIES 1990".... please. Spare me. 1977 (Blazers) and 1979 (Sonics), the region's only major sports championships, were the flukiest of the flukes. Everything in professional sports and major college athletics (Football and Basketball) for the last 25+ years has been money, money, "superstars", big-market exposure, and more money. And us pee-ons in the Pacific Northwest don't exactly qualify. How many more times do Northwest Sports teams (and their fans) need to get kicked in the head before we realize this?
Auburn would have driven down for a close field goal either way, IMO. Oregon was beat by a better team. That is all.
no complaints from me... you play till the whistle... Oregon did not. Most of Auburn didnt... Dyer did.
I hate when people don't give credit to the other team. Auburn controlled the line of scrimmage basically the entire game. That's why they won. Oh and to me his wrist doesn't seem to be down..
more importantly the auburn coaches did. his wrist wasn't "clearly" down, as that blogger would have you believe either.
