Wenger has put those rumors to bed, but we're definitely in the market for a centrehalf. I have my hopes on Mertesacker or Cahill. Spahic is also linked from last summer.
Cana is a midfielder. Mertesacker seems like the perfect candidate. Werder Bremen are terrible this year.
midfielder yes but most of the time he spends on defense, he's a tough s.o.b. Mertesacker is not a bad choice either.
We already have one of the best defensive midfielder's in the league (Alex Song). I get the feeling Wenger will go for an English defender, not sure why. Besides that Mertesacker and Gary Cahill are both good choices.
Not really saying much. So few decent transfers happen in January that (especially with Wenger) I would be surprised if we came away with anything at all.
