Wow Cho is finally being smart. Maybe now people here can realize that the Blazers wanna make the playoffs. Can we trade joel... yes and i think it happens. Miller? only if we get a pg back who can compete. but i knew theres no way with our roster as is.... camby is getting traded.

    Sorry MM

Camby wants to win a championship and hopes to end his career here in Ptd.

I love Camby . . . to quote KP, "he fits the culture of the Blazer"

    Damn . . . I hate when I agree with you.

Except Camby isn't untouchable, just not a piece to move unless some team overpays for him. So probably won't be traded.

    Pure foolishness.

This season is lost, and there is no "next year" because of the damn stupid lock-out. Is Camby still going to be a contributor in 2012-2013? Given his age, not likely.....so what is the point in not trading him for a younger player or draft picks?

Not everyone considers the season lost. They still play the games, they still have to fill the seats . . . who wants to see a bunch of young players lose.

I feel sorry for teams that in the playoff race where the owner is trying to cut costs and puts their team at risk of missing the playoffs. Playoffs is a good goal for this small market team with their current roster . . . should be fun to see if they can make it.

EXACTLY. Not to mention the extra money playoffs bring. Its insane for guys here to think they are gonna tank. Not gonna happen.

Your only chance is we trade joel which i think happens cause hes expiring and because marks might be better at this point. pryz looks painfully BAD. Miller is the million dollar question. I think they feel like harris or bust at this point. the blazers goal is to get harris without giving up batum. miller/pryz for harris/harrington is teh ideal situation. will denver do it???? idk. will teh nets deal for melo go down? idk. if it doesnt im betting miller stays put and we fight for teh 7th or 8th seed.

    thats in my crystal bAll.

How will the team fight for the 7-8th seed if the season is already over?

    Go Blazers

cause every other team we are fighting with is 4 games under 500. also nuggets will trade melo... and we have tie breakers vs 2 of them. therefore bt default the blazers likey get in unless they flat out lose like 25 of next 40.

Can't wait for that opening round series against the L*kers. That will make this all worth it. The good news is that we will get another marginal player in the middle of the draft like Babbitt instead of a possible difference maker higher in the draft

why? so we can get garbage back? what are we gonan get for camby? a late 1st rounder that translates into aarmon johnson? salary relief that we get regardless? a player that has little potential? cmon dude its garbage. the only way you deal camby is if you are getting the better end of the deal.

    you trade pryz.... not camby.

you add miller to make a trade that improves us. otherwise theres nothing thats gonna help us long term except more projects we end up trading. you should find out what john nash is doing these days.

You trade all 3. Trading Camby for a late first is better than nothing, which is exactly what we will get if we hold on to him. he won't help us win a title, so move him for someone who might.
