What was Emmitt Smith doing there? Isn't Reliant an energy company?

Reliant is an energy/utility company. Them and their parent, NRG Energy, made their CES debut as one of the only energy/utility companies in attendance. They set up a smart energy home demonstrating their smart meters, which will give conusmers the ability to make real-time decisions about their electricity usage based on real-time information. Smart Meters will also enable cutting-edge technology in homes, like Smart thermostats, Smart appliances and Smart homes--steps to becoming more green.
Being a company from Texas, it's not too abnormal to have some of the local favorites and legends like Emmitt Smith stop by for a chat, and to show support. As you know, Reliant has a stadium (Reliant Stadium), where Houston Texans play. Troy Aikman has even appeared in a few Reliant commercials.
