    Anyone getting one?

Initially it won't support the data and talk capabilities, but there are rumors that Verizon has been working to fix that on their CDMA network since last year. However, it will be able to act as a 3g hotspot for up to 5 devices, I believe.

I dunno if I'm gonna get one, yet. I do like my Droid.

I want to upgrade from my BB Storm to the iPhone. I'm a Verizon customer.

Technically, the CDMA network doesn't do data and network calls at the same time, so you can't be on the phone and browse the web at the same time. I asked a friend who's had an iPhone for a couple years and he says that is no big deal.

Yeah, technically it doesn't do it, but there have been rumprs that Verizon has been working on that since last year. Verizon and Apple have been working on the iPhone together since 2008 and have tested the iPhone since last year on Verizon's network.

I'm not too worried about the data and network calls thing. I can't imagine I'd wanna be browsing the internet while talking to somebody on the phone @ the same time. I'd imagine that function comes in handy every once in awhile, but it isn't a major selling point.

*waits for Thrilla to come shred the iPhone*

Real international playaz have the Droid Pro with International roaming.

Verizon Iphone will do simultaneous voice + Data when they have the 4G/LTE version of the phone later this summer/fall.

I'm on sprint and on an EVO. Kind of douchey to switch, pay termination fee and pay for a new phone just to have a fucking Verizon iphone but never underestimate the stupidity of early adopters.

I'm going to get a new phone in March, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be an iPhone. I am going to stay with AT&T because I get a huge discount because of my dad's job. Is there a better alternative for AT&T?

I'm going to wait until June to see what kind of update the iPhone gets before I lock in to another contract. I have the Droid Incredible now, and while I really like Android's flexibility and level of customization, the quality of apps are making me lean toward returning to iPhone.

The only update they'll have later is a 4G version of the Iphone. I'd imagine they'll announce in september at the mac event and for a thanksgiving time ship. 4G isn't really all that helpful unless you're doing a lot of video downloading or using your phone as a modem IMO.

The iPhone has gotten a refresh/update every June at the WWDC since it's release. I'd imagine this year will be no different.

I thought that was in september. oh well. wehenver that is. I think its too early if they have a Feb launch date to release a new version 4 months later. they'll have to give credits for the Iphone4 people and get some backlash. plus verizon's 4G network isn't all up to speed yet for phone use I believe.

Is the iPhone really better than a Droid?
