    On MSP this morning and speculates that its really 50/50 on improve or rebuild. Seems to think it could go either way.

    It could be that the almost unbelievable bad luck, starting with Oden's first microfracture, that ruined a very bright future finally turned him off to the NBA. It is SO much easier to rebuild quickly in the NFL compared to the NBA. Kansas City went from last place to first place in their division with basically the same team. Does that even happen in the NBA?

    The funny thing is that even if he's lost interest I'm not sure rebuilding is proof of that. If it were my team I'd want to try and work towards the brightest future possible even if that meant trying to get a little younger and a little healthier and maybe taking a step backward in an attempt to make step forward after the lockout.

    I'd say it's pretty good. By that I mean I can't recall him ever being much of pot-stirrer and he tends to be pretty light on the hyperbole ... as for the accuracy in his predictions I can't recall anything one way or another off the top of my head.

    That's a good example. Boston, too. The problem with that is I don't see that type of "rebuild" being possible in Portland, though.

    Miami/LA/NYC/Chicago/Boston? Sure.

    Portland/OKC/NO/Salt Lake City? Not. Gonna. Happen. :)

    He called the KP firing WAY before anyone else touched the subject in the local media. He also called the hiring of Bernie Bickerstaff before anyone else locally had the scoop.
