The Timberwolves should probably stop complaining so much, huh?

Two T's on a single play on different players is pretty harsh, but... the Wolves (along with all teams) just gotta play ball and stop complaining.

Note to Stern: hiring refs who want to be the center of attention and show up the players probably isn't a good idea.

Ken Mauer is from Minnesota. Sounds like he was putting on a show for his friends and family.

The color commentator expertly dissected the psychology of the situation. I hope Emperor Stern watches that video.

When the emperor penguin finally croaks painfully in the spontaneous combustion sent from above, let's all advocate term limits for any future NBA commissioners. 8-10 years is long enough to make all the improvements you'll ever make. 30 years = dictatorship.

All good techs. Minnesota just sucks so bad I can understand their frustration. I don't think Love was even touched when the stole the rebound from him... but he complained like he'd been molested.

That's about as bad of a job officiating as I have ever seen.

It's one thing to deserve it, it's another to actually get it called. We'd have multiple technicals in every game if the referee's called every "deserved" technical.

Unless there was a fight, or a player physically contacted the refs, they are all "bad" techs by definition.

Words, gestures, eye-rolls, etc are an absurd reason to interupt the flow of the game. 90% of the time they should just let the player vent and ignore it. The rest can be dealt with by post-game fines. The refs need to stop putting themselves above the game.

If they called every technical that is "deserved" then players will learn not to do things that warrant a technical.

Right now, in the interests of avoiding calling too many technical fouls, the refs look the other way and these sorts of outbursts on the part of players are only sporadically dealt with as is "deserved".

Yeah... maybe they should have just looked the other way with the coach's bitching... who knows... don't know what he was saying.

I hate all the whining they do in the NBA... it makes it unwatchable to me. I am so glad that the Blazers seem to be one of the least whining teams for the last 3-4 years.

Love's arm was grabbed by Blair which caused him to lose the ball. Not sure how you missed that one.

Love was clearly fouled. It's also hilarious that this rule is enforced only against bad teams and/or role players. Lebron and Wade both bitched openly multiple times on Sunday at the RG, and there were no whistles.
