I've never been a big Outlaw fan (at least not since it became obvious that he was evolving into a jump-shooter) but... he hasn't been horrible by any stretch of the imagination. I don't know why he's not doing as well as he has in the past, but since his game is pretty much exclusively shooting jumpers, I can see how if that fails him (or if he's not given the green light) the rest of his game is going to go down the toilet, too. I'm not sorry to see him in New Jersey, that's for sure. Ed O.
Nate coached Trout up to be a 15 PER player who could be explosive on offense in the 4th quarter. Two coaches since, with two separate organizations, haven't had any success with him. Maybe the Nets need Nate to be their coach, instead of that hack Avery Johnson, who lucked into coaching the Mavs, then squandered a certain title?
It takes a while for a coach to know when to play him. His stats for each month are at the bottom of this page. http://www.hoopsstats.com/basketbal...ey-nets/players/travis-outlaw/stats/11/18/257
